Sulzer GTC Awarded Contract from Sibur For Benzene”Unit Modernization Project

Moscow-Si-bur-Neftehim has awarded a contract to Sulzer GTC Technology for the modernization of a benzene production plant at Sibur's Kstovo olefins production complex near Nizhniy Novgorod,Russia.Sulzer GTC will design a new GT-BTX unit,as well as revamp the existing pyrolysis gasoline(pygas)fractionation;first and second stage hydrotreating;and the thermal hy-drodealkylation unit to process additional feed.Its scope of supply includes the basic engineering package,technical services,proprietary catalyst,solvent and equipment.
