SCG-Dow Achieves Full Capacity Run In New Thai Propylene Oxide Plant

Map Ta Phut- The SCG-Dow Group has successfully completed the full capacity performance test and finalized the start-up of its new propylene oxide (PO) plant in Map Ta Phut, Thailand (PCN, 10 Oct 2011, p 1).The 390,000-t/y PO project is based on the hydrogen peroxide to PO (HPPO) technology jointly developed by Dow and BASF.
