Morocco has given potential developers and legal advisers more time to officially register their interest in a plan to build an LNG import terminal on its Atlantic coast. Developers must now notify Rabat of their interest by May 6 rather than the earlier stipulated Mar. 25, while law firms have been granted an extension to Apr. 15 from Mar. 18. One of the firms planning to apply said it was not provided with a reason for the move by the government, and it is unclear if any financial advisers had submitted their interest by the Feb. 12 deadline they were given.
