US crude oil production rose by 48,000 barrels per day to 9.160 million b/d in the week ended Oct. 30 from 9.112 million b/d in the week ended Oct. 23, according to the latest weekly data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA). Despite the increase during the latest week, the EIA's weekly numbers indicate that US production has fallen by more than 400,000 b/ d from a high of around 9.6 million b/d in late June and early July.
