The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has trimmed its estimate of total recoverable resources offshore Norway marginally to 14.1 billion cubic meters of oil equivalent (89 billion boe). Having reassessed 12 of the discoveries highlighted in its previous estimate, the NPD now thinks it unlikely that they will be developed in light of lower oil prices.
