Industry Big Shots Prequalify for Brazil Bid Round

Big names such as Exxon Mobil, BP, Statoil and Total are among 22 additional companies that Brazil has prequalified to take part in a bid round that it will hold later this year for non - presalt oil and gas exploration blocks. The country's upstream regulator, the ANP, has now given 34 companies the green light to participate. An initial batch of 12 was announced at the end of last week ( OD Aug.24'15 ).
