Iran Prepares to Ramp Up Exports

Iran is positioning itself to ramp up its oil exports in the coming months if it reaches a deal with the main international powers by a Jun. 30 deadline that would lead to a removal of sanctions in exchange for providing unrestricted access to its nuclear sites. Although there is no guarantee that a nuclear agreement will be reached by the end of the month, there are signs that National Iranian Oil Co. (NIOC) is preparing to unleash more barrels in anticipation of sanctions being lifted.
