US, EU and Japan complain to WTO about China's rare-earth dominance

THE US, European Union and Japan filed a suit against China's dominance of the rare earth elements (REE) market to the World Trade Organization (WTO) on March 13. The suit requested consultations with China under the dispute settlement system concerning restrictions on exports of various rare earths, as well as tungsten and molybdenum.
