Yilgarn Infrastructure said it will continue to assert its right to build Australia's Midwest port and rail project even if its partner in the project, iron ore junior Midwest Corporation, succumbs to a hostile takeover bid from Murchison Metals. Senior Murchison officials have indicated that its own infrastructure partner would automatically be awarded the contract if its bid for Midwest, worth up to million, is successful.
