Liuzhou China Tin has declared that it will be unable to commit to new antimony ingot export business after using up its annual export licences quota earlier this month. The Guangxi-based tin producer, which produces antimony as a by-product, intends to wait till next year when a new set of export licences will be issued. While no specific antimony output figures were revealed by China Tin, an official for the company noted that the availability of antimony metal is set to worsen, with most exporters having already used up the majority of export licences granted earlier in the year.
