A food business set up in a Welsh farmhouse kitchen eight years ago is enjoying success with its hand-made treacle toffee,shortbread,oatcakes and bara brith.Such has been the success of Popty'r Bryn that owner Nerys Roberts is planning to expand to larger premises on the farm at Brynsiencyn,Anglesey next year to cope with growing demand for her products.Nerys has been amazed at the growth of the business,which she established in 1999 after a car accident injury left her unable to continue working in childcare.Nerve damage in her neck restricted the use of her right arm and hand and doctors warned that she could be limited to doing basic housework only.
