There were some new spot/contract DAP sales to India's IPL this week but tender activity has slowed and price ideas from buyers and sellers are moving apart. The Deepak Fertilisers' tender for 50,000 mt DAP which closed March 30 has yet to be awarded and offers have now passed validity. The company was believed to have been attempting to renegotiate prices down from the $345-347/mt CFR level offered, but may not have been able to do so. The company may seek to retender in the near future.
