China: June urea exports ahead of most expectations

Customs data on urea exports from China released via IHS Global Trade Atlas identified the June volume close to 714,000 mt, up by 9.4% on June 2015, and even ahead of the 664,000 mt exported in May 2016. India accounted for 197,000 mt, down by 27% and South Korea was off by 5% to 61,000 mt while the US was up 63% to 47,000 mt. Mexico was up to 152,000 mt from 53,000 mt, and Ethiopia was at 81,500 mt from zero.
