Philippines: Atlas purchases 6,000 mt DAP

Philippine importer and distributor Atlas purchased 6,000 mt DAP in the mid-$340s/mt CFR for January shipment from China's Xiangfeng, according to market sources. If confirmed the deal would represent at least $320-325/mt FOB China. Philippine buyer La Filipina is also believed to be in the market for around 6,000 mt DAP. Philphos is still said to be running at around 30% NP/NPK capacity, following further ammonia and phosphoric acid purchases in October.
