Potash prices are seen stable throughout Southeast Asia, though suppliers will now target increases from the currently-assessed $210-265/mt CFR following BPC’s agreement to supply potash to China at $219/mt CFR. In both Malaysia and Indonesia, sMOP prices remain around $210/mt CFR and only small purchase volumes are currently being reported. Some sources believe that it will be difficult to push prices much higher than this until October, when tenders will result in an increase of business.
