Bulgaria: Calendar 2015 urea imports up 7.4%

Bulgaria imported close to 300,000 mt urea in 2015, up by 7.4% on the prior year. Egypt was in the lead with 88,400 mt (up 137%), followed by Russia with 60,500 mt (up 32%), while Algeria was up from zero to 49,000 mt. Arrivals from Ukraine were down 24% to 36,400 mt and Iran down to 27,500 mt from 100,500 mt. Austria was at 10,700 mt, down from 22,500 mt while Romania was stable at 10,800 mt.
