Togo: Rock production up 3.7% in 2015, exports drop

Togo's 2015 phosphate rock production increased 3.7% year on year while exports slumped, Bloomberg reported, citing the country's National Credit Committee. Production from the West African nation reached 1.15 million mt in the 12 months through December, while exports declined 21% to 939,000 mt as higher prices reduced demand, the National Credit Committee said in a statement passed to reporters in the capital city of Lome.
