Even though there is little room for prompt, or fill UAN orders in the Midwest, retailers are keeping their eyes open for pre-paid UAN offers that would be delivered in Q1 and Q2. As noted last week, nearby UAN offers on both sides of the Mississippi River are cited at $5.31-5.62/unit FOB. However, sources suggest North American producers will offer pre-paid UAN as of December 1 for delilvery in 2016. Market expectations are for a $10/st increase based on 32% product, suggesting prices up to about $5.95/unit FOB. These offers typically specify Q1 or at least by the time there is open navigation along the upper Mississippi River for barge tows, usually by mid-March.
