Sulphur markets came under renewed pressure this week, ending sellers' hopes for potential price rises in June and July. Granular sales to China were reported in the low $80s/mt CFR, with a lack of demand even at these levels. The main reason given for the declines was concerns over phosphate demand, but this was compounded by increasing port inventories and the restart of key domestic supplier Puguang.
