Middle East sulphur spot prices increase, upward pressure remains

LONDON (ICIS)--Middle East sulphur spot export prices have risen $4-8/tonne since 10 May amid firm demand from China, sources confirmed this week. Tight supply because of the sweeter crude mix, and Muntajat’s mid-month sales tender which set the tone for the wider market, added further upward pressure.
