Thailand: TCCC purchases Chinese AS

Thailand's TCCC is widely reported to have bought 20,000 mt ex-China caprolactam grade AS at around $115/mt CFR from Quantum. This provides Chinese netbacks around $103/mt FOB with no provision for a margin to the seller. Meanwhile, GTIS data shows Thailand exported 7,625 mt AS in May 2016, up considerably from the 3,702 mt a year earlier.
