Germany: K+S suspends production temporarily

Germany's K+S said it suspended potash production temporarily at its Hattorf and Unterbreizbach sites, citing a lack of rainfall and limitations on discharging waste water, Bloomberg reported. K+S was unable to give a figure for the amount of production affected when contacted by Fertilizer Week. Hattorf capacity is 750,000 mt/year and Unterbreizbach capacity is 550,000 mt/year, according to CRU data.
