Brazil: Phosphate rock imports up 4% in 2016

Brazil imported 596,000 mt phosphate rock between January and April, an increase from 572,000 mt in the same period 2015, according to GTIS data. Of the volumes, Peruvian rock imports declined slightly to 340,000 mt from 346,000 mt but OCP rock volumes increased to 201,000 mt from 194,000 mt and rock volumes from Israel's ICL increased to 55,000 mt from zero.
