India: MOP imports down 19% in June

India imported 285,000 mt MOP in June, a 19% decrease from the same month in 2015, according to FAI data. Arrivals in April-June amounted to 550,000 mt, a drop of 18% year on year. June sales of MOP for direct application in India were 217,390 mt, down from 238,810 mt in June of last year. In April-June, sales were 452,040 mt MOP, a slight decline on 455,940 mt MOP in the same three months of 2015.
