Encanto Potash issues private placement

Canada’s Encanto Potash issued a non-brokered private placement that will result in financing of up to CAD 2.7 million ($2.09 million), the company said May 16. Through the placement, Encanto will issue up to 20.95 million units and 3,125,000 shares. Separately, the company also said that it will make up to 5 million units available to existing shareholders.
