Jan-Oct rock exports from Morocco down 5% on 4 yr average

Latest GTIS data for October show 670,000 mt phosphate rock exported during the month bringing the total for the first 10 months of the year to 7.4 million mt, a 5% drop on the four-year average. There were no exports of rock to either the US or Canada in October but shipments to India, Brazil and Bulgaria were strong. India took just over 1 million mt rock from OCP in the 10 month period compared with between 770-800,000 mt in the previous four years.
