Reports of spot sales of ammonia in and out of the US Gulf continue this week.The latest transaction involves a cargo already loaded from Yuzhnyy but previously unsold and owned by Ameropa. Those tons have been sold to Trammo, who in turn resold them to Mosaic this week for delivery to Tampa. However, the pricing between all the parties is keyed to the upcoming settlement between Yara and Mosaic for February ammonia delivered to Tampa, at least according to the best information available at press time. Furthermore, Trammo will take back ammonia supplied by Mosaic from its Donaldsonville Louisiana plant in exchange for the cargo at Tampa.
