BLACK SEA: Gorlovka and OPZ are understood to have made no sales for loading in the second half of September. The delay is being attributed to a takeover by subsidiaries of the Firtash Group and the switch to marketing of Gorlovka’s fertilizer products by Ostchem International, another Firtash company. Current sales pre-date the apparent, but unconfirmed, change of control and restructuring among the Ukrainian producers. One result is a lack of new business since the last deal at $350/mt FOB Black Sea done in late July.
