Canadian oil and gas capex plummeting -CAPP

Capital expenditure on Canadian oil and gas projects this year will be over 60% below 2014 levels and mark the largest two-year decline on record, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) has said. The slump will see investment fall from a record USD 81 billion in 2014, to a projected USD 31 billion this year on the back of lower oil and gas prices in Canada and the country’s neighbour, the US.
