Objectives: To test the hypothesis that nebulized epinephrine ameliorates pulmonary dysfunction by dual actionbronchodilation (2-adrenergic receptor agonism) and attenuation of airway hyperemia (1-adrenergic receptor agonism) with minimal systemic effects.
