Eni hits Nile Delta gas

Italy’s Eni has made “a significant gas discovery” in the Baltim South West prospect in the Baltim South licence in the Nile Delta offshore Egypt – with a fast track development being studied. The Baltim South West 1X discovery lies 12km off the coast at a water depth of 25m (82ft). The well is located 10km north of the Nooros field, which was discovered in July 2015.
