Eni Finds More Nile Delta Gas

Eni has found more gas in its Abu Madi West permit in the Nile Delta offshore Egypt. Preliminary results from the Nidoco NW-1 exploration well indicate that the Greater Nooros Area, located within the permit, has more than 4 trillion cubic feet of gas in place, the Italian oil major said. Eni and BP have made Egypt’s prolific gas resources a core part of their portfolios as the oil majors seek to beef up their gas assets as part of the transition to a low-carbon economy.
