Trio hold Mexico talks

Mexico’s state-owned Pemex is holding talks with ExxonMobil, Total and Chevron as the struggling state player looks for partners to develop deepwa- ter projects in the Gulf of Mexico. Pemex may also start discussions with Norway’s Statoil, reported Bloomberg. Pemex wants Areas of Mutual Interest agreements to evaluate whether the companies have opportuni- ties to work together in offshore areas.
