…and Chevron’s Alberta boost

Chevron has increased its holding in the Duvernay wet shale gas play in Alberta, Canada, through a new sales deal. The US major said its subsidiary Chevron Canada signed an agreement to acquire all Duvernay interests from Alta Energy Luxembourg and its affiliates. The acquired acreage covers around 275sq km in west-central Alberta. Chevron did not reveal the cost of the deal.
