Wintershall hits Norway oil

Germany’s Wintershall and its partners have discovered oil with the Rodriguez exploration well 6407/1-6 S in the Production Licence 475 (PL 475) offshore Norway. The well lies around 4km northeast of the Tyrihans field and 8km southeast of the 6406/3-8 oil/gas discovery, said the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).
