Israel Tamar onstream

The Tamar field in the Mediterranean Sea offshore Israel has come onstream. The Tamar discovery in 2009 kick started a flurry of exploration activity in the Levant Basin, which is shared between Israel, Cyprus and Lebanon. This led to the larger Leviathan discovery and prompted Israel to set up a natural gas wealth fund.
