Malaysia Rotan discovery

Murphy Oil has notched up a deepwater gas discovery on the Bulu prospect near its Rotan field in Block H offshore Malaysia. Malaysia’s state-owned Petronas is looking to develop the area with a Floating LNG (FLNG) facility. The US operator said the new Bulu gas find will be developed as part of the Rotan FLNG programme.
