Germany’s Wintershall, operator of Production Licence 457 (PL 457), has completed exploration wells 16/1-19 S and 16/1-20 A offshore Norway – with both probes coming up dry. Wells 16/1-19 S and 16/1-20 A were drilled 2.5km east of appraisal wells 16/1-16 and 16/1-16 A at the Ivar Aasen field and 3km north of the Edvard Grieg field in the central Norwegian North Sea.
