Premier projects ramp up

Premier Oil said today that it pumped 40,400 boe/d in 2011, down from 42,800 boe/d in 2010. Premier said the North Sea business faced chal- lenging conditions due to extended unplanned downtime on key producing assets at the UK Balmoral, Scott and Wytch Farm fields. "However, the year-end target of 60,000 boe/d was achieved following the return to full produc- tion at the UK fields and the start up of new Asian projects during the fourth quarter."
