The device has an adjustable lever arrangement with an outer actuating arm (6) arranged at one side of a ramp (1), which is assigned to a coaming (2). A positioning arm (7) is pivotable in a guide rail below the ramp, and the guide rail has a control surface for the positioning arm. The ramp is lifted one-side by the positioning arm, and is movable in a direction on the coaming, for adjusting usage position. The ramp has a projection (10) that is retractable into a corresponding retainer (9) at the coaming in final position through movement of the positioning arm.
