Eirik Raude for Liberia

Australia's African Petroleum has agreed to char- ter Ocean Rigs' semisubmersible Eirik Raude for a two-well drilling campaign on Blocks 8 and 9 off- shore Liberia. African Petroleum did not say how much the deal is worth but did say that the contract con- tained an option for a third well. The deepwater rig is due to start operations in either Q3 or Q4 this year.
