Alaska boost for Buccaneer

Probable oil reserves have increased by 82% at Buccaneer Energy's Southern Cross unit in Alaska's Cook Inlet, according to a study by Netherland, Sewell & Associates (NSA). Buccaneer said the project had probable oil reserves of 24.7m bbl, well above the estimated volume announced at its annual general meeting in November 2010.
