VNG picks AGR for Norway well

AGR Petroleum Services has landed a two-year deal with VNG Norge to plan and drill an exploration well in the Norwegian North Sea. AGR was awarded the contract following the completion of a successful project on VNG's Cyclops well in Block 37/3-7 last year. The scope of the agreement includes an option for an additional well. Sjur Talstad, CEO of AGR Petroleum Services, said: "It is great to have the opportunity to continue working with VNG and we look forward to delivering a successful well management campaign on their behalf." Rolf Gregor Skaar, deputy managing director of VNG, said: "Our experience with the AGR team makes us confident that they will be a good fit for us."
