Cooper Basin hit for Adelaide

Adelaide Energy has struck gas with the Hollick-1 exploration well on its 100% owned Otway Petroleum Project in the Cooper Basin, South Australia. Hollick-1 intersected a "significant gas show" at a depth of 8,767ft (2,672m) in the Jacaranda Ridge sandstone primary objective. The exploration well will be drilled to the deeper Sawpit sandstone target. Adelaide expects the probe to reach its planned total depth within the next day.
