Ireland will launch a new upstream licensing round in April 2014 for acreage across the country's major Atlantic basins, the government has announced. Speaking at the Atlantic Ireland conference in Dublin on Monday, the country's Minister for Natural Resources Fergus O'Dowd indicated that details of the forthcoming Atlantic Margin licensing round would not be finalized until after a review of oil and gas fiscal terms is complete in early 2014 (IOD May16'13).
