Japanese Oil Stocks Dip

Japan’s onshore oil product stocks slipped by 1.9% to 80.55 million bbl in the week ending Jan. 14, according to data released by the Petroleum Association of Japan trade group. Stock levels dropped by 1.57 million bbl compared to the previous week. Japanese refinery runs rose to 3.66 million b/d, or the equivalent of 88.5% of capacity — up slightly from the previous week’s runs of 3.64 million b/d.
