PURPOSE:To readily obtain a paste of Japanese horseradish having pungent taste and taste unique to fresh Japanese horseradish at low cost, simply by filling and packaging powdered Japanese horseradish in heatlon paper having moisture absorption property and dipping the Japanese horseradish directly in a packaged state in water. CONSTITUTION:Powdered Japanese horseradish is initially filled and packaged in heatlon paper having moisture absorption property. In use, the resultant Japanese horseradish directly in a packaged state in then dipped in water for several sec to provide Japanese horseradish in a pasty state, which is taken out.
