Masdar took a concrete step forward on its delayed carbon capture plans Wednesday, soliciting proposals for facilities to capture carbon dioxide that will be injected into Abu Dhabi National Oil Co.’s (Adnoc) onshore Rumaitha field. But a final deal is at least a year away as the two companies hammer out a price for the carbon that will ensure the project’s commercial viability.
