UK-listed Rockhopper Exploration saw its shares jump by over 10% on Wednesday as it announced a second oil discovery off the Falkland Islands and a successful appraisal well at its Sea Lion main complex. The 14/10-9 well was drilled toward the southern edge of license PL032 in the North Falkland Basin and penetrated multiple targets. The well was designed to appraise the Sea Lion find, as well as target the Casper and Kermit explo- ration prospects.
