Belarus-PDV JV Hikes Output

Belarus-Venezuela joint venture Petrol-era BeloVenesolana plans almost to double oil output this year to 27,000 b/d from 15,000 b/d in 2010, an official at state Be-larusneft was quoted as saying Wednesday. The increase will come from two fields added to the joint venture's portfolio last December. It already had five oil fields - Guara Este, Lago Medio, Oritupano Norte, Lagunillas-2 and Ostra - and was reportedly given a license for six gas fields last year (IOD Dec.28'09,p6).
